Affluenza....

I have an illness and it's symptom is the tiny little thrill I get when riding my Vespa home from the gym. I take a route that winds me thru one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in town.  Fortunately, it is a neighborhood that precedes mine and thus lends to the overall property value of my home! I gaze and gander at the McMansions, complete with their Hummscalades and swimming pools and immaculately gilded landscapes. Once in a while I catch  a glimpse of a thin and tan soccer mom out jogging with her cell phone, as if it were her training partner or I see a young teen all dressed in Abercrombie, Aeropostale or whatnot....and get a sense that I belong there! This is MY neighborhood, where I live!
